World MMA Awards, Las Vegas, December 2022

Marc Goddard wins the prestigious Fighters Only World MMA Awards "Referee of the Year". Marc is only the third person in the awards 15-year history [and the first ever outside of North America] to collect this trophy.

The annual awards, the only such in the industry, remains respected and regarded as they are decided by public voting. Speaking from Las Vegas via his social media Marc said:

"Thank you 2022. Thank you MMA, this is for you. You taught me many lessons once again. I am truly grateful for all that I have & all that I’ve been given, I’m beyond humbled, from the bottom of my heart. Merry Christmas one & all. Count your blessings not your blemishes."
